My company won one of the early reconstruction contracts in Iraq following the fall of Baghdad. And when I say "early" I mean that members of the team were on the ground in Iraq in the last week of April 2003; I myself arrived in-theatre (Kuwait, in my case) in the first week of May, moving to Baghdad in June.
At a later date, I'm going to annotate these things more comprehensively, but for now, what you get are themed collections of roughly sorted images, tossed up to see which turn out to be interesting. Enjoy!
[As you can probably tell, this is a different approach to photo presentation compared to the rest of this site. Owing to the problems associated with having accumulated over 10,000 digital images over the last 3 years, I'm trying out a content management program (Adobe Album) to produce slide shows. So far, it's no better than quick-and-dirty, but hopefully I can improve on the presentation as I gain experience with the program.]
